Our product development is unsurpassed in the industry and is reflected in our extensive catalog. L. P. Aero Plastics currently holds over 1600 FAA-PMA's covering about 500 aircraft and has many new products now being developed in our R & D department.  We also have extensive coverage of Homebuilt/Kitbuilt, Experimental and Warbird aircraft. 

Our on-staff FAA-DMIR's (Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative) continuously monitor our quality control systems which are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration, meeting the Code of Federal Regulations and the Department of Defense.  Our aircraft quality acrylic materials meet Federal specification ASTM D 4802, LP 391-D, MIL-PRF-5425, MIL-PRF-8184, and MIL-PRF-25690.

In recognition of the company's achievements, we have been a three-year winner of the Commander's Award as the "Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year" by DCMC Pittsburgh.

In the last 15 years, L. P. Aero Plastics has received the "Gold Award for Excellence" by Defense Supply Center Richmond 12 times.  To qualify for the Gold Award, the contractor must ship 10 or more contract lines per year with a perfect contract score of 100 % for quality and delivery.
